Preferences

You can control a couple of site-wide preferences from your profile and the Privacy & Cookie Policy page.

Color theme

On your profile page, under "Color theme," choose the colors used across the site. System follows your device's light or dark setting automatically; the other options apply a fixed theme regardless of your device setting. Changes apply and save immediately.

Advertising tracking

The Privacy & Cookie Policy page lets you disable the optional cookie used to personalize or measure advertising. Disabling it does not remove ads from the site - it only turns off the tracking used to personalize or measure them. Required cookies (for staying signed in and for security/stability) cannot be disabled, since the site can't function without them.

Display handle

Your handle is the name shown on your posts and public profile instead of your email address. You can set or change it from your profile page. Handles may only contain letters, numbers, underscores, and hyphens, within the length shown on that page.
